Preventing violent extremism through dialogue
In September 2019, Professor of Practice David Wood was invited to provide expert input into a workshop on Dialogue and Conflict Prevention in Lebanon. The workshop was hosted by the Lebanese Prime Minister's Office as part of a process to develop a National Strategy for Preventing Violent Extremism. The workshop and process was supported by the the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to Lebanon, the British Council and the Swiss Government's Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. As part of the process, Professor of Practice David Wood developed a paper on 'PVE through dialogue, conflict prevention and social cohesion'.
